Booster Dose Promotional Campaign by Community Radio “Radio Padma 99.2 FM”

Radio Padma 99.2 FM has organized a phone live program on Covid-19 Booster dose promotion where Dr. Md. Fajlul Kabir Bhuiyan, Public Health Specialist at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, was present there.

The discussion points were:

·           Introduction with Govt. Campaign for Covid-19 Booster dose

·           Benefits and importance of Covid-19 Booster dose vaccination

·           Who can take Covid-19 Booster dose and who not

·           Roles and responsibilities of Family and society in terms of the Covid-19 vaccine

·           Misinformation about the Covid-19 vaccine

Radio Padma got a phone call from a patient’s brother named Akram from the Rajshahi University area, he is concerned about his sister’s health and shared that “his sister has been suffering from fever for 4 days and the body temperature is about 4-5 degree Fahrenheit she caught a cold but does not have a cough. Is she infected by Covid-19 or something else”. He is seeking advice from a Health expert. Someone commented on Facebook that “I was vaccinated once from Debiganj and I didn’t take the rest of the two vaccines, will I have any physical problems. This program is supported by UNICEF and implemented by The HUnger Project, BCRA, and Radio Padma 99.2 FM.
